I had a productive day overall especially considering I really just wanted to sleep all day. I managed to finish my article, go grocery shopping, go for a short walk with Lucy, go take photographs for my article, go see my grandkids, cook supper, watch tv with Gary, and now am trying to get a few things done before I go to sleep.
FOOD: I don’t even want to talk about it. Let’s just say – not good.
HEALTH: My arm feels a little better but I think it is because I have arranged my arm to lay flat with my hand on the mouse and a beanbag type wrist rest and I believe it is helping. Plus, I am trying to do a little computer work and then some other kind of activity – such as tidying up or brushing my teeth, etc.
PSYCHE: still somewhat depressed – especially over my food problems – I am sick of myself.
SLEEP: I still did not use my bi-pap last night. Last night I again woke up in the middle of the night and had to take two alleve and rub icy hot on my shoulder. The sound of crickets in my ears also contributed to finding it hard to fall asleep.
EXERCISE: Took a walk with Lucy the end of the block and back. Yeah, I know. Lame. But it is something …
GRANDKIDS: I was able to go hand out with my grandkids and my son and daughter-in-law. Nyna prepared a puppet show and she set up chairs for us with our names on papers in each chair. I just know she is going to be somebody someday. She loves to sew and I could easily see her becoming a costume designer. She is 7 years old. She also loves to write little books, write songs, sing, and dance.
GARY’s HEALTH: same as night before but still relevant: He has been on the chemotherapy pill for about 3 weeks now and has not experienced any itching in about a week. He continues to take a long walk each day even in very cold and snowy weather. I am so glad he is feeling better.
